The "Ultimate Lightness of Gravity" Theory

Gravitatation - A "Faux" Experience

In 1980 I began to understand that the experience of gravity is based on incomplete and incorrect observation and assumptions which altogether led to a deep-seated and almost universally engrained –although wrong– consensus.

This new understanding made me conclude that the experience of gravity is a "faux experience" much like the faux experience when we seemingly observe that the sun, etc. circles the earth.

Gravitation ONLY SEEMS to exist...

Subsequently I developed a radically new (and simple) theory which concludes that:

What is traditionally and by consensus called "gravitation",
that it does not exist.

What I found is a new way of understanding and describing so-called 'gravity', so-called 'weight' and so-called 'attraction between masses'.
Altogether, this also resulted in a new six-dimensional space/time hypothesis (see elsewhere on this blog) which entirely excludes "gravity" defined as one of the fundamental forces of nature.

The above statement is, or would be (considering current scientific notions) a great surprise and... it would also be a great relief, as the need to find a way to unify the so-called "gravitational force" with the other three forces into a fundamental Theory of Everything (TOE) would disappear.

The search for gravitational waves though, will find something,
but their dynamic structure is NOT as it is currently understood and described.

I like to propose that when it is eventually discovered what the true nature of those wavelike structures is (the ones that will be identified as gravitational waves), that it will be scientifically concluded that gravitation does not exist, thus falsifying the traditional theory of the "force of gravitation".

The "Ultimate Lightness of Gravity" Hypothesis

I am in the process of putting my notes (and the models that show this new view almost tangibly) in order.
I have just completed (please see the following section "Jelloid Space") a narrative that includes thought- and visualization-experiments that make this new understanding clear.

Of course on first sight, all this seems quite crack-pottery... but... there is a somewhat renowned Dutch scientist, Dr. Erik Verlinde, who recently came up with a theory that also looks at gravity in a new way.
"We’ve known for a long time gravity doesn’t exist, it’s time to yell it."
(Please click here to read the article.)

It is unfortunate that Dr. Verlinde still comes up with something "from which which gravity emerges, [...] that differences in entropy can be the driving mechanism behind gravity, that gravity is an entropic force," meaning of course that he still considers gravity to be something.

In my 12 D space/time theory (which covers entropy and the energetic dynamics of neutrino distribution) there is not even the need for gravity/gravitation to exist, as (as stated above) that what looks and feels like gravitation is actually a "faux experience!"

That what is described as gravity
is as real as the fallacious observation
that once and for the longest time
was used to conclude
that the sun and the whole universe
was circling the earth.

Jelloid Space

A Mind's Eye Thought Experiment

Imagine a small cube of Jello, say a cubic centimeter, and let it stand for a cubic centimeter of space...

A cubic centimeter of "Jelloid Space".

Now while resting it in the palm of one hand, with the thumb of your other hand gently start pushing on the top face of that Jello cube...

Realize that as it get dimpled, that it also gets thinner, wider and rounder sideways in two directions. Also the top face will be concave because of your thumb's pressure, and the bottom face will be convex as it gets pressed downward.

Imagine a symmetrically warped dimpled lozenge - like a jujube sweet.

The dimpled lozenge aspect is not shown in the picture below, but perhaps you can imagine it: concavely dimpled in the front face with a slightly convex rear face.

Now, imagine that "empty" space consists entirely of very flexible Jello...: "Jelloid Space". Higgs Space's phase state can be described that way, flexible, impressable, compressable, extensible... easily giving way to deformation.

Now, for this mind's eye thought experiment, visualize that the entire universe's Jelloid Space can - for the sake of argument - be divided up into gazillions of these jelloid cubes... Of course they are not separate Jello chunks in reality, but it comes in handy for the next mental imagination experiment to be able to visualize geometrical ribs as shown in the picture below.

Many cubes - what is important for this visualization is to imagine gazillions of cubes,
and to consider the ribs.

Now imagine the depicted cube above to be a randomly selected cube -- 99^3 centimetres of jelloid space INSIDE "Grand Universal Jelloid Space"...
Note: It needs to be an odd number because one particular cube in its exact centre is needed to be manipulated - actually to be expanded, for now think of it to be blown up like a balloon.

So, 99^3 cubes... but remember, those cubes are only imaginary for the purpose of this mind's eye experiment - it's the ribs of those close to a million cubes that are important, BUT compare the ribs to the imaginary meridian and parallel lines drawn on a globe or our globe's flat map representations...

Now imagine a tiny balloon right inside the very centre cube of that imagined jelloid space cube, and visualize that that balloon is expanding because we are pumping a hardening substance into it, e.g. a two-component fiberglass resin and hardener. (Yep, keep imagining that such a thing is possible.)

Can you foresee, that, when that happens, that the soft cubes that surround this central cube get deformed:
  • on their inner sides they become concave,
  • on their outer sides convex,
  • the outside dimensions (length and width) increase,
  • while their thickness at the same time decreases.
Symmetrically warped dimpled lozenges...

This effect decreases at a square ratio toward the outside of this 99^3 cube, and, of course, at an inverse square ratio from the outside to the inside.

The volume of the whole Jelloid cube, which is now more of a glob with a massive object inside it, stays the same overall, even as the three dimensions of the outside change... In real space, there might (I foresee) even be an amount of compression: the jelloid space sort-of compacts itself.

Of course so far this is merely another way - but a more complete 3 dimensional way - of visualizing Einstein's 2D warped trampoline like depiction of space around massive objects, except now we can take care of the 3D deformations (the expansions and contractions).

But let's go on.

Now in your imagination again, shoot an arrow towards the centre of the NON-deformed space cube, the one WITHOUT that resin inflated balloon.
Say, it takes one millisecond to reach the cube's centre.
But after that imagine that you shoot that arrow towards the centre of the jelloid glob WITH the hardened resin mass at its core - of course you may already have guessed that that core is our earth, which is no more then a a huge coagulation of spacedust. (Much more on that to follow... Hint... How mass particles are generated involving Higgs bosons.)

The arrow will now, instead of reaching the glob's centre, reach the surface of the solid mass, and... arrive there (landing really) in a reduced timespan, while it at the same time, traveled a shorter distance. (Remember the thinned out cubes, now concavely and convexly deformed as they became thin in one dimension, but wider in the other two?)
What is happening to the arrow, imagine YOU are that arrow, how do you undergo what is taking place during this trip?

How does it experience itself, so to speak?
The arrow itself will have increased in something (whatever that something is we will see later), although its mass is still the same.
In empty space - in a not totally correct manner of speaking - one could say that mass and weight are equal to each other... In this compressed deformed space, though, that the arrow traveled through, they are not: its (your) mass is still the same, but it now "experiences":
  1. something that is usually called "attraction between masses",
  2. something that is usually called "gravity",
  3. something that is usually called "weight",
  4. AND a shorter duration of travel time...
In fact, as it is traveling, this so-called "weight" increases as it passes through the steadily thinner (by inverse square ratio) getting jelloid spacd cubes - which are now thinner - like convex/concave pillows.

Conclusion

So, looking at it this way:
  1. no attraction actually took place (we humans interpret it that way),
  2. there was no 'weight' gain as it is only on impact and contact - measurement - that such a thing can be interpreted as weight,
  3. no gravity, it is just a clumsy description of what is actually taking place,
  4. The shorter time duration was due to time compression.
Of course in practice, just like we are still saying "sunset" and "sunrise", we will still be using "weight", but that weight is not a characteristic of the object itself (the arrow in this example), it is a result of its impact on and contact with another mass (the hardened resin core - or the earth) and deformed (compressed) space and time contraction.

I did not get into all aspects (e.g. speed and acceleration) but that will be dealt with in an upcoming visualization...

This is not a perspective, even if it looks that way...

Now to the next Gedankenexperiment (very provisionally tbough):

Instead of the hardened material balloon inside that jelloid space, imagine (as we already did) that it is the earth surrounded by jelloid space...:
Still imagining, "you" are sitting inside the nose of a projectile aimed at the earth from very, very far away but not just aimed at the earth's non-forgiving surface but instead... 'falling' INTO a LONG and WIDE wide enough shaft that goes straight through the earth coming out the other side.
NOW, what do you think the projectile, or actually you experience?
Let me  for now just tip the veil a bit which also happens to explain why neutrinos go through anything unimpededly...  It is not because they are immensely tiny, or that they have no, or as they now propose, only have an extremely small mass.
For them the path that they go through (that to us solid glob) is just a shaft... Hence, even if they have mass (even if tiny) they will not be affected, to them that (to us) solid earth is no more than NON deformed jelloid space... except those neutrinos have the tiniest bit of deformed jelloid space around themselves.

It is OK for them to have the tiniest bit of mass... which - I predict - will soon be announced...
